These are the steps for ordering wedding cupcakes from The Couture Cupcake Company
WEDDING CUPCAKE ORDERING PRICING AND PROCESS
STEP 1: Cupcake and Optional Mini Cutting Cake Subtotal This part of the total covers the cake part of your cupcakes as well as the ingredients required for their toppings. It is the number of cupcakes you select multiplied by our cupcake base rate. For example:
The base rate for a Vanilla Cupcake is $1.60.
The base rate for Chocolate Cupcake is $1.70.
Cupcakes with fillings or special toppings, such as mousse, whipped cream, fruits, or praline pecans, have a slightly higher base rate. No cupcake flavor has a base rate greater than $1.85.
There are a few exceptions: if you have fewer than 60 cupcakes in your order or you require gluten- free or vegan cupcakes, your cupcakes will be $2.50 each. In the event you would like a small cutting cake for your cupcake display, these are $45.00, regardless of flavor or design. An alternative to a cake would be 4-1/2 inch cupcakes for the bride and groom, which start at $4.00 each.
STEP 2: Design Fee This part of the total covers the time it takes to frost and/or decorate your cupcakes. From a simple piped frosting to an elaborate design, the wedding cupcake design is created through a team effort. We use the actual time (in minutes) required for your design and multiply it by the total number of cupcakes to be decorated for your big day. We then multiply this number (converting minutes to hours) by our decorating base rate, which is $25.00/hour. If you desire the cupcakes to be decorated as we normally do, we average around 40 cupcakes per hour. More elaborate designs will require more time and will be considered on an individual basis.
STEP 3: Display Rental This part of the total covers the stand(s) or cake plate(s) the couple selects. We have a wonderful variety of display pieces, and pricing depends on the piece(s) you select. The rates start at $50.00. You are not required to rent our pieces.
STEP 4: Delivery and Setup This part of the total covers delivery, which is required on all orders, and on-site setup of your cupcakes, which is optional. Pricing for delivery is based on geographic location of the reception site. See the following for an example of popular delivery areas: Downtown Columbus and surronding areas, Pataskala, Pickerington $30, Hilliard and Deleware and Grove City $35, Dayton and Cincinatti $60. Each venue outside Columbus Limits will be given individual consideration if not previously specified. Want to ensure you have the picture perfect set up? Set up on-site the day of your event is an option you can choose, and the rates are based on the number of cupcakes in your order: <75 cupcakes $30, 76 to 100 cupcakes $40, 101 to 125 cupcakes $60, 126 to 150 cupcakes $80, 151 to 200 cupcakes $100, 201 to 250 cupcakes $120, 251 to 300 cupcakes $140, 301+ cupcakes $160.

Process
1. Schedule a complimentary consultation and tasting. We meet with clients outside the kitchen at one of any Starbucks or Paners locations. Please specify which location is more convenient for you when you are scheduling your appointment.
2. Enjoy a selection of wonderful cupcakes. We bring 6 flavors to the tasting, selected from our menu at http://thecouturecupcakecom.wix.com/cupcakes Have a special diet, allergy, or food preference? Please let us know so we may best accommodate your needs.
3. Go with The Couture Cupcake company for your big day! Submit your $150.00 nonrefundable deposit to hold your date. We suggest you get your deposit in as soon as you can. Your wedding celebration will be our #1 priority, but it is on a first come-first serve basis. We reserve the right to limit the number of weddings we commit to.
4. Begin the design process. Play an active role in your wedding cupcake design by sending in inspirational photos or ideas. Meet with us again to continue developing your custom creation if necessary. Our expertise will help you create the perfect final design. Every design is one-of-a-kind and will not be re-created for another wedding. The design process will culminate in the creation of an informal quote.
5. Receive your final quote. Pay your balance at least 30 days before your wedding day. If cupcake numbers need to be increased, we can accept adjustments up to 2 weeks before you big day. Any new balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding day.
